"Sheena Says" by James McCann and the New Vindictives

One of Melbourne's best acts, James McCann and The New Vindictives, will play their first show in Sydney, as support to the New Christs, at Marrickville Bowling Club on July 15. Tickets for the gig are here.

They'll bring with them the CD version of their their new album "Gotta Lotta Move - Boom!" (Beast Records for vinyl, Off The Hip for CD). This is "Sheena Says", the second video single from it.

James says: "It was filmed on Johnston Street, Collingwood, and is contrast to the last video single 'I Can Control Your Mind' as it has a catchy pop. upbeat feel. It was fun to make on our old stomping ground on a sunny day, and features the Bendigo Hotel beer garden and Nighthawks Bar. We were all pretty jolly by the end of it. The clip was filmed and edited by the uber talented Claire Birchall."

It will be the first New Christs show in close to a year and the first Jasmes McCann Sydney gig with a Melbourne band in 10 years.
