Everybody b/w Executive - The Dangermen (Swashbucklling Hobo)
No-nonsense gutter rock’s attack on society’s elites gets a little dirtier with this sterling 45 from Brisbane.
“Everybody” roars out of the speakers and aurally assaults anyone anywhere who has ever put on a suit and tie for a living. It sure had me shitting bricks. The “fuck you, fuck everybody” chorus puts the sentiment beyond doubt. Ear-piercing feedback announces the B side, a tuned-down sledgehammer of a song with similar lyrical intent that’s underlined in the drums-and-bass breakdown. The Dangermen are in the veteran class these days but have never sounded sharper.
