Saturday, June 28 is the date to make when the Turnbuckles return to the Lansdowne Hotel to lay waste to the recently refurbished venue that they haven’t played in nearly 25 years.

One night of mayhem will ensue when the Psychotic Turnbuckles assault your senses with a set made up of all the old favourites plus some newer songs.

In support will be a couple of up-and-comers in Wollongong’s hard-driving Bruce and the unpredictable and highly flammable Bunt.

Onetime permanent fixtures on the flourishing Australian underground music scene of the ‘80s and ‘90s, the Turnbuckles recently made a fully-fledged return to Australian stages in 2013 after two decades of hibernation, releasing a collection of all their recorded material, “Destroy Dull City”, on the esteemed Citadel label and a follow-up single, “You Hurt My Head”.

Sold-out Sydney shows and visits to Melbourne and Brisbane have followed.

Tickets are $17 in advance or $20 on the night and available here.
