Comprising 19-year-old Angus Ross on guitar, vocals, and songwriting, and 16-year-olds Jamie Woodward on bass and vocals and Sam McInerney-Wand on drums, pocketwatch has quickly built a solid audience with high-energy performances and a unique power pop sound.
"It's Time," showcases their musical diversity and explores themes of introspection and relatable experiences and draws inspiration from acts like the Beatles, silverchair, Sunnyboys, The Jam and Oasis.
The EP kicks off with "Flowers," a high-octane pop-punk anthem that sets the tone for an engaging musical journey. The introspective "Pinafore" follows, presenting a more contemplative side of the band's songwriting.
Standout track, "See You Someday," has already gained recognition, reaching the top of the Triple J Unearthed Punkchart. The EP concludes with the soulful and melancholic "While We Sleep," leaving a lasting impression on listeners.
