new release dinkus finalFor nearly two decades, UK-based King Salami & His Cumberland Three have been spreading the Rhythm & Punk grease all around this big old world, bringing along with them buckets of fun, raucous energy, silliness, smiles and sweat! With this quartet, every show is a party!!

To mark their 20 years anniversary of relentlessly playing shows around the globe and releasing dozens of records, King Salami & the Cumberland Three have dug deep into their extensive catalogue to select 16 of their most killer tracks.

“16 Knockout Hits!” on the Damaged Goods label makes for a fun-packed album on the back of wacky classics such as “The Pulpo Dance”, “Pineapple Mama”, “Shake it Wild” and “Do the Wurst”.

It also features their lesser-known instrumental “Itch!” that recently featured on a UK cat food TV ad. Score a copy here.

Former Celibate Rifles guitarist Kent Steedman has unleashed a scorching seven-song album on streaming services and it’s well worth a digital listen. “How Wasn’t” is high-octane guitar paired with some intriguing wordplay.

Of the title track, Steedman says: “A play with words and conditioning. ie who dictates what means what other than our own agreement..So potentially this song makes as much:sense: as anything else. I find it fun mucking around with the meaning of not meaning...plenty of guitars in there for those who think such pastimes are less than optimal”.

On another note, Kent has come into ownership of a handful of vinyl copies of “The Earth Is Shaking”, the 2007 Hydromatics album that he played on in the band fronted by Scott Morgan.
