Radio Birdman will mark their 50th year with a farewell Australian tour in June and July.
The seven-date , four-city run – labelled “Birdman 5-0” - starts with two nights in Melbourne and ends with a brace of gigs in hometown Sydney.

The line-up of foundation members Deniz Tek, Rob Younger, Pip Hoyle, newest guitarist Dave Kettley and longtime engine room of Jim Dickson and Nik Reith last played in 2019. Rob Younger’s New Christs have only been playing outdoor shows since lockdowns ended, due to health concerns.
Citadel Records will mark the tour with a vinyl re-issue of “Live at Paddington Town Hall”.
