That’s not to say she sings just like Dusty - I’d peg her more of a Dinah Lee girl - but both sides of this seven-inch hold up. “Look Back And Laugh” is probably the better cut with its clean guitar and fullsome vocal. It's a little sedate for my tastes but grit wasn't in the equation. This could get airplay on grown-up radio.
The flip finds Suzi in a call-and-response situation with clean production. There’s an album (“Girl From The Waist Down”) but the label only sent out three songs on a shitty CD-R so it’s hard to review it.
